I understand so much of what describe about Vicki. It's silly that people think one has to be related to have that connection. It's all about LOVE.
It's also common to not recall certain things until time helps heal. Our minds often protect us from trauma until it's ready for us to deal with it and remember. (Speaking from experience with that.)
