Well Peg, I don't know if this qualifies, but today my sister called me outside to see this big beautiful orange butterfly hanging out on my truck and flying all around and almost coming up to her nose. When I went outside, sure enough there he was buzzing close to me and over my sister's head and back over to my truck. It was quite amazing going on the entire time I was outside, over an hour. My sister would hold out her hand and ask him to land on it. He got very close. I truly have never seen a butterfly stay for so long in front of my house and seem to interact with us. Landing on my truck was interesting, because a few weeks ago I wrote about a bird flying to my truck window and looking inside (13) times in a row. The truck was my husband's. I have asked for hummingbirds or butterflies from him.
