Peg, it does seem like a lull. There is always a let down for me after the holidays. I don't think our loved ones ever leave us. I think it is especially difficult to send signs, and when we are low feeling it is even more difficult. The problem is how do we keep from feeling low, when we can't see them or touch them. I just don't know the answer, but I do know feeling low doesn't mean you don't believe, it just means you are missing that physical contact with your loved ones. I have learned that feeling any kind of happiness , even for a moment doesn't mean you are letting go of your loved one. They are right there feeling it with you. With me it is up and down all the time. I love the signs , but sometimes , I know Donnie is here, just letting me work something out myself, but ready to jump in with support if I need it. The only real thing in the universe is love, and without it nothing else really matters or gives joy. Love can never die, even when the loved ones take on a new form the love just increases. I can understand about not wanting to leave your Daughter, my Daughter is an only child too. I have a wonderful son in law too, just like a son to me and little Pix needs me too. My whole family has passed except for a brother that lives far away, that I only see once a year. Donnie's whole family has passed also. Hang in there, your Mom and Dad are still near and will be supporting you with all their love as you go through your journey.
