Yes, Reya. Your feelings ARE normal. What you describe sounds very familiar. Sometimes I have what I call mini anxiety attacks, but have learned to BREATHE and work out of them. Recognize why you have them and it helps.

I have also kept those closest to me at arms length emotionally and am working at not doing that as it only hurts THEM. And those "what ifs" can drive you nuts and just make the anxiety worse.

I also believe that negative thoughts can attract negative, so it's important to focus on POSITIVE. When things are really bad mentally, when I go to bed I visualize God's Golden/White Light surrounding our home and my family. It's visualizing a shield of protection and helps me get to sleep.
