It had hung on the wall not working for about 20 years. In fact my husband had tried to fix it. It is a wind up clock that chimes. One day I decided everytime I walked by that clock I was going to swing it's pendulum. It would swing and then stop. I kept doing it about 20 times and one day to my surprise it kept swinging. It was also chiming and it lasted for about 3 weeks. I was so excited because it was around our anniversary. When it finally stopped, I took it to the repair shop to keep it going. I remember the night it had stopped working around 1993. My sister's boyfriend had just gotten killed. The clock chimed about 100 times and never worked again. It was very peculiar. |
