Did anyone watch the roll call yesterday at the 9/11 memorial in lower Manhattan?
Those reciting the names of the perished were survivors of a loved one whose name they called. Many tributes were poignant and heart wrenching. It was natural to feel their grief.
Before exiting the podium, did anyone notice many survivors would often send a message up to their loved one like, "Aunt Rose is with you now, give her a hug for us", "Keep watching over us", "Keep sending us signs", and one survivor even sent up a message to their loved one, saying, "We're not mourning you, we're celebrating your life, and quoted from John Lennon's song, "Instant Karma", because...."We all shine on, like the moon, the sun and the stars."
Each sign we receive is a communication. Never waste time in doubt! It is sent for your comfort, joy and for you to take a giant step forward away from your grief. Every communication is real and true, and meant exactly for you. We hear them, and yes, they hear us.
Let's resolve to have peace today and every day knowing our loved ones live on, in a better place. Certainly at least the way life is in 2021, we have that to be thankful. |
