Hello Everyone,
Some of you know I've been posting on here for a long time.....mostly sharing my past experiences if they relate to others'.....Loss isn't brand new to me.
But last Sunday I was sucker punched. My husband/best friend/lover for the last 43 years left his physical body. We had just found out he had cancer tumors in his liver, lungs, and brain. I was with him when he passed.
Two things I thought I'd share with you that have happened in all of this. The first was that I actually saw his Soul Essence leave his body while the medical staff were working on him. I saw a mist or fog rise up from his body, hover for a second, and then dissipate. I knew he was gone.
One of our grown foster daughters and her husband met me at the hospital to drive me home. Kaitlyn was driving and when we turned down our road, a large Red-Tailed Hawk swooped down in front of the hood of the car. He dipped and weaved, forcing Kaitlyn to slow down. He then veered over to my side of the car and came around, still flying low, just behind us. I said, "That's got to be Larry! It's a sign from Larry!". Kaitlyn looked in the rear view mirror and exclaimed, "It's following us home!"
Sure enough, the hawk flew just behind the car to the driveway and then was gone...........
