My daughter stepped in a few days ago and located an ad on line about an 8 month old female pup - the same breed mix as my Idgy was.
I had answered a couple of ads last week and done some phone interviews, but sadly they had "issues". (Hated cats, had bitten some people, etc.)
This time the pup (Nora) sounded promising! We set it up that the owner brought her to us so she could see what kind of place we had. After visiting for about an hour, Nora was sitting at my feet, gazing up into my eyes....We agreed she was staying with us.
It's going to take a little bit of time but she is beginning to learn our routine. |
