Maryann on Tuesday evening I had to go to the ER (the last place I wanted to be). I went to get up from playing solitaire on the computer and I got so dizzy and shaky. I took my blood pressure and it was 181 and that scared me to death. I called my sister in law down and she called 911 when they came my pressure was still in the 180s so I was taken to the ER. I had a ct scan on my brain and some blood work. My head was about to split and was shaky and nervous but my blood work and scan came back ok and I was released. On the paper they released me with my BP was 199/164. I called my heart doctor yesterday and on Monday we are having a telephone conversation. funny thing is I was feeling super anxious a few days before this happened. I cant get outside much because of the pollen and my allergies so I pretty much stay inside. I do feel better but my pressure being that high is very concerning. I thought I was going to have a stroke or heart attack and I take high blood pressure medicine and had taken it about 30 min. before the episode happened.
I was watching the news this morning with my coffee and my headache was returning so I switched it off the news channel. I am a high strung person anyway but I need to meditate again so I can get a handle on this. I probably gave to much information that you were not wanting to hear but Im wondering how many folks are dealing with this type thing.
