Follow your heart and your gut, Peg. Do meditation/prayer about it and ask your Guide/Guardian Angel to help with your questions....
Many many years ago I had two amazing experiences that helped me weave my faith and beliefs. The first was a year after my brother was murdered and I was in an Alpha state (basically meditation) and my "Guardie" spoke to me telepathically. He said that we humans make things so complicated, but God makes it simple.
God created us as his Children. Our Souls are splinters of Energy of Our Creator. We have been sent out as individuals to learn and evolve. And we return as many times as necessary for our Soul's Education. Often we return at the same time as others we "knew" before because there is a lesson we each need to learn from one another....
The other Message I received years later was in a Dream Visit from my brother's best friend,Gregory, who had also passed. He was young and vibrant and full of joy. I asked him where my brother was. He told me that Dan (my brother) was on a "higher plane" - that his Soul was evolved more. He reassured me that they still "saw" each other, but there were lessons for him to learn where he was.
That's it in a nutshell....
