Hi ISOH, its understandable that you feel reflective around the anniversary of his passing. You suffered a loss of someone who was a huge part of your life, it was like a big part of your heart went with him. you will never forget him, nor would you want to but you are learning to live again and there is no doubt that is what he wants for you.
You sound like you keep a very busy lifestyle, and have traveled the world and maybe by keeping so busy it has helped you to cope better with your loss. I am happy to hear that you have found love again and who is to say that your boyfriend didn't play a part in the meeting of your current love, its possible you know and also as much as you and your boyfriend love one another he would not want you to go through life grieving to the point of never finding happiness again.
On the 6th, take some time out to remember and cherish the times you shared, maybe indulge with one of your and his favorite foods or one of you all's favorite things to do,I can bet you he will be sharing those same special memories with you.
