My heart is with you.
Yesterday we had to put down our 10 year old lab due to cancer. He was internally bleeding. The amazing thing to me was he seemed so accepting... When we put his head down on my moms lap, he didn't fight it he just seemed to be saying "thank you for letting me go in peace".
I've been looking for signs all day today and felt like I haven't gotten any yet... I'm hoping he comes to visit us.
I have a 2 year old pug who has been literally by my side all day today - it helps so much.
I hope you receive visits because I know that would be such a comforting thing. |
