Hello, My father passed away Oct 10th 2001. Three strange things happened. One before he died. I was in Florida taking care of him for 2 weeks in Sept. I danced for him in his living room the night I was driving home. As I danced for him I saw a death mask of purple, blue and gray cover his face that made him look very scarey - he looked like that while he was feeling really sad and then I got him to smile and his face looked normal again. He died while I was in the car driving to the hospital where I had been staying with him for a week. As we were driving big tears sudden;y started rolling down my cheeks and I got very cold all over - I said to my brother who was driving - Paul - He is leaving us and Paul said - I know - but I said Paul he is leaving now - the next second the car phone rang and it was my brother in the hospital telling us Dad had just left us. After he died - not that night but for 5 nights after that he was sleeping in my bed right next to me - He was in pain still as if he was still in the hospital - I couldn't talk to him because I was afraid if I woke him he would be in pain and I wouldn't be able to help him. Every night he got smaller and smaller and weaker looking and more pale and awful looking - no blood in his face' I said to my husband " Mark Dad looks worse and worse but he just won't die and then he left my bed. I have had several clear dreams of him, have thought that he was standing near me one day and have also felt as if he is lonely for all of us I would love to hear someone's reaction to all of this - My Dad was a very interesting, multi faceted guy - we were very close and I would love to know what pact we made with each other before coming into this life together - if that is possible. I have not read your book yet. But I will do so as soon a possible. I have read James VanPraaghs books. That is how I learned about your book. I can't wait to read your book. This is all new to me. My father passed away Dec. 9, 2000. I would like to know if he is around me at all. He never beleived in talking to the dead. But I always thought that there must be a way to communicate. i thank james Van Praagh for calling attention to your website. I read your book years ago.It was one of my first in my newly found desire to understand the evening my husband (who had passed) held me tight for over an hour when I was most in need for his presence. Since then it is such a pleasure and comfort to understand that "we don't die" we simply move into another dimension.
