We have a 16 year old Golden Retriever who's fading fast and yesterday my husband and I talked to a dear friend who's a vet tech about taking him to her clinic to be euthanized. A little bit later I got a distinctive "nose bump" on my rear! Whipped around and of course, nothing there. None of our dogs here do that to me, but two who have now passed used to... I felt the message that one or both of them were aware that their friend, Duke, was coming and they would be there for him.
