Dear Leslie,I am so sorry to hear about your nephew,I can't even imagine what you all are going through, a horrible passing for anyone to have to endure.
Prayer is always welcome no matter what circumstance someone passes. I feel certain that your nephew is with the Lord and the Angels,he is being well taken care of. I pray for his parents and for his entire family to find some peace and comfort knowing that your nephew is not suffering in anyway but in a place so full of love and light.
Leslie,I know this may sound odd but felt the need to mention that maybe your nephew would not only like prayers for his family but for the person or persons who committed this horrible crime.
