The night after we said good bye to "Shed", our four legged friend of 15 years, I THINK I had a dream visit, but it didn't make any sense.
I felt that I was in a "heavenly place" hovering. There was a group of people who I didn't recognize, but a man who seemed familiar (I think was a young version of my father-in-law) was holding Shed. Shed is a Lab mix! Shed then jumped out of the man's arms and started running and a Black Lab joined him.....They bounded into a canal or creek and swam and swam.... (The Black Lab may have been our "Blake" and they knew each other when Shed was younger, but I was viewing all of this from above.)
They came back to the people and there was a party going on for Shed! He was being given special attention and they made him his own plate of food! (Food was the highlight of his life.) That's where the dream ended. I was pulled back and woke up.
I'd like to think I was gifted with a view of how happy he is now....and obviously younger and in good health.
