I was reading a book I purchased at the library about the real founder of Las Vegas, Helen Jane Stewart (April 16, 1854 – March 6, 1926). Helen was a Southern Nevada pioneer, and was considered the "first lady of Las Vegas". Stewart Avenue in Downtown Las Vegas is dedicated in her honor.
When I was reading the book I began receiving adcs from Helen. Helen wanted me to know that there was a statue made of her, and that she had been honored. |
