| One day I was working with a manager at work. He had once been into gangs in Compton. He had told me his story recently, and how he had changed his life around, and left the gangs. Then I heard his mother say to let him know how proud she is of him. I told him his message from his mom. He confirmed the mother that raised him had passed on, and she was not his birth mother. He told me how she raised him going to church as a little boy. He said he lives everyday to make her proud of him. This message made his day. He was so happy to hear from his mother. |
