Dan my sincere condolences of the passing of your son,your wife and your daughter and for the pain and loneliness you feel. I know having your wife and daughter from your now wife helps you a great deal but still the pain of your previous losses still cause you so much pain.
I do understand some of what you are going through for I lost my 19 year old son in 1990 and my beloved husband of 50 years in December of 2015,its just my oldest son and myself left out of the 4 of us and he lives almost 2 hours away,he calls often and comes down as much as time allows him.
I understand your pain and I also understand the losses you have endured will never heal completely but you just learn to live and cope with your now new normal,its not easy,but you can and will do it.Im glad you are not alone you have your wife and daughter and even though they may not understand fully your suffering,they love you and in time will give you the strength and motivation to continue on.
sometimes its not easy for someone who has not been through a loss that hurts so deeply to totally understand, do try to understand they mean well and will comfort you the best they know how.
