| Cath..no, my mom didn't sing on any of the tapes. Back years ago when there wasn't enough money for long distance phone calls we'd make a cassette tape, talk about what was going on and mail it to each other. To us this was the next best thing to a phone call. Original plan was to re-use the tape, roll it back to forward and talk over it, another way to save money. But after a while we decided to just stay stocked up on cassette tapes, reason being what if something happened to one of us, at least we'd have these tapes to listen to. I knew I had them but just could not bring myself to listen to them until now. Would be nice to put them on a CD. Another project for another day. |
