Denise, a while back someone inquired about EVPs,dont remember who it was. I personally would not want to mess with it.I remember there was a lady who got into the EVP thing and at first she was happy and felt she was communicating with spirit but after awhile things changed and got very strange.
You say you got spooked,I think that is your intuition kicking in,if things don't feel right then I would not continue on,just my opinion Denise.Take care
