I don't know if you have heard of the movie "White Noise". It is from about 2005, and it dealt with the EVP phenomena. The first half of the movie was quite interesting, but then it went off on a spooky, scary tangent like many movies that deal with spirits. I am not saying I loved it, but at least you will learn a lot about EVP if you get to see it.
