Yes, Landon. I believe that intervention comes from many sources....Our Loved Ones in Spirit (your Diana), our Guardian Angel (Guide), and ultimately from God.
Life on this earth is our school to develop/enlighten our Souls. The Path isn't always easy and if we break away from it, we still have to continue and perhaps start all over again!
On a personal note, I also came close to suicide when my brother was murdered... I now see why I didn't. I have learned a lot and experienced some amazing things (both good and bad) that I would have thrown away.
