To clarify, Krissy is our oldest of several foster children who lived with us before we finally got our "own"....Krissy is now 32 years old and living in Michigan close to her mother's family. She lived with us for 2 years as a teenager and we bonded.
Last week we had a long phone conversation and she shared about her maternal grandmother who died last November. Krissy moved into her grandma's trailer house in December. She believes in "signs" (because of me...haha.)Before her grandma was moved out and put in care facility last Fall, she planted a Rose Bush by her front door.
Krissy told me that before her grandma died she told her to always keep the light on in her storage room where her freezer chest was.....So one day just after moving in, she realized the light was OFF in the storage room and when she went to turn it on she felt something touch her hand. Poor girl JUMPED and RAN back into the main part of the house and told her Grandma, "Please don't touch me! I love that you are here, but please find another way to let me know!"
A few days later Krissy saw the rose bush her Grandma had planted was in full bloom......It was December.
