Gotta say, Maryann hit the nail on the head about raising a little bit older puppies! :)
I was thinking of my tiny pups I've gotten at the age of 6 weeks, and assuming Snapdragon's pup is just a baby, since she's had it only 2 weeks. (Possibly 8 weeks old.)
They need a lot of TLC at 6 to 8 weeks, then hop on the bandwagon of discipline as they're a bit older. Mine would have been scared to death if I'd stomped and fussed at them as infants!
Just slightly different timing, I think ... not so different in philosophy of "child-rearing."
