I wish I could say that Amy's stomach problems are over, but they are not. Don't think she has an ulcer, but she keeps having stomach pains, and taking the acid-reducers, like Dexilant. They can cause other problems if taken a long time -- osteoporosis, etc. She's taken them for over 1 1/2 yrs. I suggested she ask for a different med, or maybe try another gastro dr. "He" said the med she's taking was the "best there is," and she wouldn't consider trying anyone else. Oh, well.
