Dear Josie: What a pleasant surprise to see your lovely note. I don't come here as often as I used to, but do try to stop by occasionally.
Thank you so much for the kind wish for our 50th anniversary. Each one means even more these days. Keeping a positive outlook, we will celebrate the 51st next month.
I thought of you this last July 3 which would have been your 51st, I believe, since we share the 1965 wedding year. I hope your day was filled with many fond memories and happy thoughts of days gone by.
We spend a lot of time in the hospital these days, Paul grows more frail with each treatment. He just had a skin graft on an open foot sore that will not heal so now we're waiting to see if it "takes."
Again, thank you so much for your usual thoughtful attention to this board and all who visit here. It is always much appreciated.
