Dear Maryann, I am sorry for your niece's loss. I am sure she will find great comfort in your words ad hope she saves them to read over and over again. Isn't it funny that I say the same thing to myself and others as you said in your last sentence -- be gentle with yourself and to others. When we are in our deepest grief, I believe we are more fragile than we might appear. It is up to us to take good care of ourselves -- sleep, eat well, take it slowly -- until the patient (you) begins to heal. Love to you, Maryann! Linda |
