So glad your mom is doing well after her surgery, and that she went home so quickly!
Poor timing to get those colds, and then the super infections right after surgery, though. Hope you are both feeling LOTS better now! Sending big hugs to both of you! :)
If you feel it appropriate, you both might take some "probiotics" or even some coconut oil to prevent yeast infections and/or overgrowth of "bad" bacteria after the antibiotics. The probiotics add back some of the good bacteria to your body. (Imagine you were given some strong antibiotics to fight off the super infection.) A health food store would be a good place to buy either of those products.
