| Kate, I sure can relate to this. It still hurts to tell anyone that Donnie passed , even after 10 years. I was in the Grocery store recently and I saw someone we had not seen in years. They ask about Donnie and it was all I could do to hold it together and get out of that store. I cried all the way home. I think it hurts so much because we love our loved one that has passed so much, we miss their physical presence and we know they are still with us, but we can't explain that to those that have not experienced the physical loss. It a new and different situation that we find our selves in. I'm so glad for this board, to be able to talk about these things, that the outside world just doesn't understand. I would love to say to some one," Donnie's physical body has passed, but he is doing just fine in his new spirit body and he is here right now, you just can't see him as he is invisible to the physical world, but he thanks you for asking after him". People would probably look at me like I was crazy. Knowing a truth but having to be so discreet with it is very hard. |
